Medical Device Components

Medical equipment tends to have a long service life, and it is important that all equipment components are able to support the normal operation of the entire life cycle, or be able to provide replacement parts when needed.

This is especially important since components often have to withstand harsh conditions such as exposure to liquids, severe shocks.

Ideally, the switches and components of these medical devices have a much longer life cycle than the medical devices themselves, so that they can withstand these harsh conditions.
